Carvenance is an iPhone app for keeping your vehicles' records. It is built so that your information stays with you. We do not run accounts or servers for your data, we do not show ads, and we do not track you.
Nothing. The developer of Carvenance does not receive your vehicle records, photos, receipts, location, or any personal information, unless you choose to send it to us (see "Contacting support" below).
Everything you enter or add is stored on your device: vehicles and VINs, service entries, upgrades, reminders, fuel fills, receipts, photos and 360° views, specs, warranties and notes.
To fill in details, Carvenance contacts free public services only when you use these features. They receive only what is needed for the lookup, not your name or other records.
These services have their own privacy policies. Results are saved on your device so the same lookup isn't repeated.
You can change any of these in the iPhone Settings app at any time.
Garage Pro is purchased through Apple. Apple handles payment; we never see your payment details.
If you use Report a Problem, the app prepares a report with your description, the app and iOS version, your iPhone model, and a log of recent app errors (plus any crash reports iOS has given the app). It does not include your vehicle records, photos or receipts. Nothing is sent unless you send it, and you can turn off the log first. We use what you send only to help you and fix the problem.
Carvenance is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Delete records or vehicles in the app, or delete the app to remove everything stored on your iPhone. Files in a storage folder you chose stay there until you delete them.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
